She is the legendary demoness who had been sealed in the Masaki Shrine since ancient times. Awakened by Tenchi from 700 years of sleep, she is back in business with her magical powers.
This head-strong and capricious girl who has all the attractive qualities of a complete woman: She can move through solid matter, blow holes in the ceiling with her powerful blasts and even FLY!!
As Washuu's creation, Ryoko can be described by her mother's favourite word: Perfect.

Ryoko's Powers
Energy Sword - With a gem on her wrist, she can generate pure energy in the form of a constant beam.
Energy Blast - Energy blasts can be her sword thrown as a projectile, or can also be discharged from her hands as individual beams or as one concentrated blast.
Demon Summoning - With a gem on her left wrist, she can summon spirits from surrounding atmosphere. But to control them requires a gem on her right wrist.
* This power grants her name Ryoko, the demon caller. (Ryo=spirit Ko=call)
Matter Manipulation - Fighting at full power, she animated a stone pillar into a golem in her own image.
Hair Needles - When arms and legs are inaccessable, her hair is her final weapon.
* She only used this technique once in Episode #11 of the OVA series.
Flight - Just like Ryo-oh-ki, Ryoko can also fly freely in the air or in space.
Teleportation - One advantage that Ryoko has in a fight is that she can teleport out of danger. Teleportation is also used to travel in short distances.
Non-corporeal Form - Not only can she pass through matter, but she can also bring foreign objects with her too.
Regeneration - Having a body made out of Mass (Masu), she can regenerate her body parts. The process also produces nice looking sparkles too.
Dopple Ganger - Ryoko can make a false duplicate of herself. She never used this ability in a fight though, so looks like she consumes alot of power when mirroring herself.
Bust attack - Her way of attacking Tenchi. ^_^;
Eraser attack - Another addition to her deadly attacks.
